UPDATE: The safety of our members and their communities comes first. We have decided to cancel the IAW Spring Meeting.

When: Tuesday, April 7th 9:00am – 1:00pm

9:00am: WCFA Wrap up Session

10:30am: IAW Meeting

11:15am: Lunch

12:00: Tour

Where: Richland Community College, Please meet in Bistro Classroom, close to the Bistro. I have attached a map. We can include it or we can send it out to the attendees as we get closer to the event.

  • display lab materials; handout cover crops report
  • Visit Prairie Plots and Biomass Furnace
  • discuss multiple economic and environmental benefits of prairie vegetation

• Visit Wind Turbine
  • discuss how wind turbine works, electricity produced, cost, etc.

• Visit Solar Arrays
  • discuss how solar arrays work, electricity produced, cost, etc.
