Penny Lauritzen awarded ACES Alumni Association Award of Merit

The University of Illinois College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences alumni bring honor to themselves and their alma mater in many ways. The ACES Alumni Association celebrates alumni who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievement, or through outstanding leadership or service have significantly enhanced or improved the lives of others.

ACES Award of Merit recognizes the outstanding accomplishments of living University of Illinois College of ACES alumni who have excelled in their careers, leadership or service upon graduation from college.

Selection is based on Professional Accomplishments, Service to the University and College, Service to Professional Organizations, Community Involvement and Awards & Honors as well as the Narrative Endorsement/Letters of Recommendation.

Penny Lauritzen is among one of the winners for 2020. Penny graduated from the University of Illinois with her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 1986. Penny is a self-employed Farm Management Consultant of Lanark, IL. Penny has been involved with IAW for many years. Among many of her accomplishments, she has been a key leader for the Women Changing the Face of Agriculture (WCFA) event.
